At Gauras we make cow dung lamps that are environmentally sustainable and have been created using a composition consisting of Panchagavya, which is a mixture of five cow products, and a blend of leaves commonly used in traditional herbal medicine.
Panchagavya, also known as Panchakavyam, is a traditional mixture used in Indian rituals. It is made by combining five products derived from cows. The three primary components are cow dung, urine, and milk, while the remaining two are curd and ghee, both of which are derived from these primary ingredients. These components are mixed in the correct proportion and then fermented to create Panchagavya.
